Let us continue our teaching from last week “Four Stages Of The Monarch Butterfly With Life Changing Analogies”
We used Romans 12:2 as our key verse. (This was my springboard into the teaching)
“Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may prove what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” RSV
I presented a detailed word search for transformed, renewal and mind.
From this word search, we understood that there was a metamorphosis (supernatural change) that needed to take place in the mind of the believer (including the thought processes, reason, attitude, intention, purpose, understanding, and discernment.)
We learned that there were four stages to help us build our mind and I related this to the teachings I presented a while ago called “The Golden Gate Principles” and “Bridge Support #1” which was Salvation.
We also learned that these particular stages were found in the life of the Monarch Butterfly which have deep spiritual analogies for us to apply.
Stage #1 = Egg = Decision
Stage #2 = Caterpillar = Selection
Stage #3 = Pupa = Development
Stage #4 = Adult = Maturity
I taught on the first two stages, which were Egg (Decision) and Caterpillar (Selection)
Today I will teach on stage #3, which is the Pupa (Development) and stage #4, Adult (Maturity)
During this teaching if you discover that you are receiving too much spiritual food, continue to take notes and review at a later time.
We do the same thing when we eat at a restaurant. When there’s too much food, we ask for a doggy bag and eat it later. Sometimes we are hungrier than other times.
Do the best you can and enjoy the teaching.
All SFM students please use your H.F.B. to take notes.
