Jeff Maynard inspired me with, "Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith". May this be a blessing to others. Thank you Jeff!
Jesus finishes whatever He starts. Therefore look to Jesus as our example.

"Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,
looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God." (NKJV)
"And I am sure that God who began the good work within you will keep right on helping you grow in his grace until his task within you is finally finished on that day when Jesus Christ returns." (TLB)
Be a finisher in all areas of our life by making the decision to calculate the cost before we begin a project or task. (Click here and read more)
Character quality needed.
Decisiveness vs. Double-mindedness
“The ability to finalize difficult decisions based on the will and ways of God.” (IBLP)
For all those who are believers in Christ Jesus,
keep in mind that your body is the home of the Holy Spirit.
Think about the following verses from God's word and gain some insights.
1 Corinthians 6:19-20
"Haven’t you yet learned that your body is the home of the Holy Spirit God gave you, and that he lives within you? Your own body does not belong to you.
For God has bought you with a great price. So use every part of your body to give glory back to God because he owns it." (TLB)
One step further!
Jesus is thorough in whatever He does.
Let us be thankful that He cleanses us from all unrighteousness.
1 John 1:7-9
"But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (NKJV)
Be thorough in all our work by knowing beforehand what the factors are that could distract us from our tasks.
Character quality needed.
Thoroughness vs. Incompleteness
“Knowing what factors will diminish the effectiveness of my work or words if neglected.” (IBLP)

(3) People who believe do it! People who do it believe!
"But be doers of the Word [obey the message], and not merely listeners to it, betraying yourselves [into deception by reasoning contrary to the Truth]." (AMP)

Insights from Jeff Maynard
“A finish man in any trade, whether carpenter, concrete finisher, electrician, drywall finisher, etc., have the responsibility to take an incomplete work and turn it into one that is fully acceptable to the client. They all take rough materials, manipulate them carefully with a variety of tools, and shape those rough beginnings into useful items that are designed for specific purposes. The results are often beautiful, but that is a by-product. Their real purpose is more practical. To meet the needs of those using the finished product.
When that is accomplished, the Designer is glorified, and the workmen are gratified.”
