 Psalm 150:1-2 (AMP)
“PRAISE THE Lord! Praise God in His sanctuary; praise Him in the heavens of His power! 2 Praise Him for His mighty acts; praise Him according to the abundance of His greatness!”

 Psalm 66:3 (NKJV)
“Say to God, "How awesome are Your works! Through the greatness of Your power Your enemies shall submit themselves to You.”

Psalm 145:3 (AMP)
“Great is the Lord and highly to be praised; and His greatness is [so vast and deep as to be] unsearchable.”

Ephesians 1:18-23 (AMP)
“By having the eyes of your heart flooded with light, so that you can know and understand the hope to which He has called you, and how rich is His glorious inheritance in the saints (His set-apart ones),

19  And [so that you can know and understand] what is the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His power in and for us who believe, as demonstrated in the working of His mighty strength,

20  Which He exerted in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His [own] right hand in the heavenly [places],

21  Far above all rule and authority and power and dominion and every name that is named [above every title that can be conferred], not only in this age and in this world, but also in the age and the world which are to come.

22  And He has put all things under His feet and has appointed Him the universal and supreme Head of the church [a headship exercised throughout the church],

23  Which is His body, the fullness of Him Who fills all in all [for in that body lives the full measure of Him Who makes everything complete, and Who fills everything everywhere with Himself].”

John 1:1-14 (NKJV)
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  2 He was in the beginning with God.  3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.  4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.  5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.  7 This man came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all through him might believe.  8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.  9 That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world.  10 He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him.  11 He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him.  12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:  13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.  14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.”

John 1:1-14 (AMP
“IN THE beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself.  2  He was present originally with God.  3  All things were made and came into existence through Him; and without Him was not even one thing made that has come into being.  4  In Him was Life, and the Life was the Light of men.  5  And the Light shines on in the darkness, for the darkness has never overpowered it [put it out or absorbed it or appropriated it, and is unreceptive to it].

6  There came a man sent from God, whose name was John.  7  This man came to witness, that he might testify of the Light, that all men might believe in it [adhere to it, trust it, and rely upon it] through him.  8  He was not the Light himself, but came that he might bear witness regarding the Light.  9  There it was—the true Light [was then] coming into the world [the genuine, perfect, steadfast Light] that illumines every person.  10  He came into the world, and though the world was made through Him, the world did not recognize Him [did not know Him].  11  He came to that which belonged to Him [to His own—His domain, creation, things, world], and they who were His own did not receive Him and did not welcome Him.  12  But to as many as did receive and welcome Him, He gave the authority (power, privilege, right) to become the children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name—  13  Who owe their birth neither to bloods nor to the will of the flesh [that of physical impulse] nor to the will of man [that of a natural father], but to God. [They are born of God!]  14  And the Word (Christ) became flesh (human, incarnate) and tabernacled (fixed His tent of flesh, lived awhile) among us; and we [actually] saw His glory (His honor, His majesty), such glory as an only begotten son receives from his father, full of grace (favor, loving-kindness) and truth.”

John 8:12 (NKJV)
“Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, "I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life."

John 12:46 (AMP)
“I have come as a Light into the world, so that whoever believes in Me [whoever cleaves to and trusts in and relies on Me] may not continue to live in darkness.”

Luke 1:78-79 (AMP)
“Because of and through the heart of tender mercy and loving-kindness of our God, a Light from on high will dawn upon us and visit [us]
79 To shine upon and give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to direct and guide our feet in a straight line into the way of peace.”

Matthew 5:14 (AMP)
“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.”
