Social media including the news are like huge tornados, things spinning around and around tearing up people, destroying families...mixed with all types of detours, distractions, opinions, half-truths…If people are not carful and continue to dip in the spiritual tornados they will be caught up in the whirlwind, entangled and ineffective.
The goal for those in Christ, is not to be fruitless, but fruitful!
Do what Mary did and not what Martha did in the video. She was fruitful!
Make the decision today to be careful and not be taken up in the spiritual tornados of social media! Become fruitful, in Jesus name! Amen!
Mark 4:18-19 (AMP) (Avoid the thorns!)
18 And the ones sown among the thorns are others who hear the Word; 19 Then the cares and anxieties of the world and distractions of the age, and the pleasure and delight and false glamour and deceitfulness of riches, and the craving and passionate desire for other things creep in and choke and suffocate the Word, and it becomes fruitless.
Mark 4:20 (AMP) (Be the good soil!)
20 And those sown on the good (well-adapted) soil are the ones who hear the Word and receive and accept and welcome it and bear fruit—some thirty times as much as was sown, some sixty times as much, and some [even] a hundred times as much.
In this time of disorder and what some may see as a loss of hope, it needs to be said, "Sit at Jesus feet and listen."
