Are we making the right choices?

This video is simple and to the point.

If anyone desires to be successful from God’s perspective, we must make right choices.

We all have choices, some are good, and some are not.

Here are some highlights.

Learn one thing the devil attempts to do against those in Christ.

How can we manifest victory in our life.

Are we fighting wars we started?

Wrong choices cause trouble.

What about distractions?

Watch the video for the answer all believers in Christ should make!

Thank you for watching, learning, and applying God’s word!

Consider the following. (More details)

Our choice!
As time goes by and if people (especially children) do not renew their mind with God’s word, their unrenewed mind will grow stronger and be difficult to manage as they grow up.

Simple applications:
Use time wisely.
Renew our mind with God’s word.

Ephesians 5:15-16 (RSV)
15 Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise,16 making the most of the time, because the days are evil.

Romans 12:2 (NKJV)
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Our choice!
We cannot allow the enemy to keep us (Those in Christ) from God’s word, otherwise we will become ignorant.

Simple application:
Diligently study God’s word.

2 Timothy 2:15 (AMP)
Study and be eager and do your utmost to present yourself to God approved (tested by trial), a workman who has no cause to be ashamed, correctly analyzing and accurately dividing [rightly handling and skillfully teaching] the Word of Truth.

Romans 10:3 (NKJV)
For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God.

Our choice!
If believers in Christ apply God’s word rightly, they will not be deceived.

Simple application:
Memorize this verse with application.

James 1:22 (NKJV)
But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.

Our choice!
Are we fighting wars we caused?

Simple applications:
Meditate on these portions of God’s word with application.

James 1:19-20 (TEV)
19 Remember this, my dear friends! Everyone must be quick to listen, but slow to speak and slow to become angry. 20 Human anger does not achieve God's righteous purpose.

James 4:1-3 (NKJV)
1 Where do wars and fights come from among you? Do they not come from your desires for pleasure that war in your members?

2 You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask.

3 You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures.

Our choice!
If a person is praying, asking God to deliver them from the enemy; and at the same time not abiding in God’s word, who is responsible for not being delivered?

In other words, the choice not to abide in God’s word is an enemy, and we do this to ourselves without the enemy’s involvement. Can we be our own worst enemy?

We cannot blame the enemy for our wrong choices. God’s word says, “abide in Me, and My words abide in you”. (Abide G3306 means, remain, continue)

Simple applications:
Ask according to His will.
Allow His words to abide in us.
Be friends to ourselves.

1 John 5:14-15 (NKJV)
14 Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.15 And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.

John 15:7 (NKJV)
If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.

2 John 1:8 (NKJV)
Look to yourselves, that we do not lose those things we worked for, but that we may receive a full reward.

Matthew 22:37-39 (NKJV)
37 Jesus said to him, "'You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.' 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'

Our choice!
If believers in Christ desire to be fruitful, they need to understand how to work through distractions.

Simple applications:
Choose to diminish distractions.
One possibility is to set some personal goals of controlling media intake.

Mark 4:18-19 (NKJV)
18 Now these are the ones sown among thorns; they are the ones who hear the word,
19 and the cares (G3308) of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things entering in choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.

3308, from <G3307> (merizo) (through the idea of distraction); solicitude: - care.
Strong's Talking Greek & Hebrew Dictionary.

Our choice!
To be the good ground takes decisiveness and determination.

Simple applications:
Memorize and meditate on the following verse with application.

Matthew 13:23 (NKJV)
But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty."
