How to regain a grateful spirit series Part 3

Here are eight applications of how to regain a grateful spirit.

(1) Go back in our thinking and see how many unfulfilled promises we can fulfill.

This will get us moving.  Our actions will let God know we are serious.

1 Samuel 2:3
"For the LORD is the God of knowledge; And by Him actions are weighed." NKJV

This action of going back to our thinking will be of assistance to others and us.

Going back to our thinking is an examination of our self.

2 Corinthians 13:5
"Examine yourselves, to see whether you are holding to your faith. Test yourselves. Do you not realize that Jesus Christ is in you? - unless indeed you fail to meet the test!" RSV

The people that are involved in our broken promises might still be waiting for us to keep our word. The door may be still open.

They are expecting us to keep our promise to take some action.

Examine our self. Be a person of our word.  Keep our promise. Take action.
