Protect the Mind Part 6 Another secret is revealed!
Please pray first and ask for guidance and understanding from the Holy Spirit.
Last week I gave one secret to prevent us from forgetting.
The secret was daily review.
Daily review is paying attention.
One main verse was Deuteronomy 4:9.
Deuteronomy 4:9 (RSV)
"Only take heed, and keep your soul diligently, lest you forget the things which your eyes have seen, and lest they depart from your heart all the days of your life; make them known to your children and your children's children –"
Today I will provide you with another secret.
Question how can we keep a knife sharp?
The answer or the secret is sharpening the knife before we use it every time.
I believe it is dangerous working with a blunt knife; it can cause damage.
I believe working with a sharp knife is quicker and more effective.
Example: Cut a tomato with a dull knife and see what happens.
There is a certain amount of maintenance involving knives.
For instance, a knife needs a knife steel to maintain sharpness. (Effectiveness)
Furthermore, proper storage is needed to protect the knife. (Plastic, wooden or leather sheath)
Therefore, we have at least three things to consider.
1. Knife
2. Steel
3. Storage (Place or location)
In addition, I believe knowledge is needed when using all three.
Two examples involving storage or place of a knife.
Continue listening and receive some relevant spiritual food! Remember, we must be doers of God’s Word.
