All good things to remember daily when people are purposing to make changes for the good.
This video and the following material will assist all those in Christ. Observe several verses pertaining to reminders with some insights. Be encouraged!
Hebrews 2:1
SINCE ALL this is true, we ought to pay much closer attention than ever to the truths that we
have heard, lest in any way we drift past [them] and slip away. AMP
Psalms 32:9
“Be not like a horse or a mule, without understanding, which must be curbed with bit and
bridle, else it will not keep with you. RSV
If we need to be reminded several times about something, we are like the horse or mule.
1 Corinthians 4:17
Therefore I sent to you Timothy, my beloved and faithful child in the Lord, to remind you
of my ways in Christ, as I teach them everywhere in every church. RSV
God can use others to remind us.
1 Corinthians 15:1
Now I would remind you, brethren, in what terms I preached to you the gospel, which you received, in which you stand, RSV
Paul, who is in a position of spiritual authority is reminding them.
We should listen to those in spiritual authority when they remind us of something of importance rather than get upset because we think we already know what is going on.
It is a good thing to be reminded because we may need it in a time of need not yet noticeable.
2 Corinthians 10:7
Look at what is before your eyes. If any one is confident that he is Christ's, let him remind himself that as he is Christ's, so are we. RSV
It is good to remind ourselves.
2 Timothy 1:6
Hence I remind you to rekindle the gift of God that is within you through the laying on of my hands; RSV
Remind people that will do them some good.
Titus 3:1
Remind them to be submissive to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for any honest work, RSV
There are three reminders listed in this verse.
1. Be submissive to rulers and those in authority.
2. Obedience.
3. Ready for any honest work.
2 Peter 1:12
Therefore I intend always to remind you of these things, though you know them and are established in the truth that you have. RSV
Jude 5
Now I desire to remind you, though you were once for all fully informed, that he who saved a people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe. RSV
Even though we may know certain things, are established in them and fully informed, it is okay that someone reminds us of them rather than get offended.
View those who remind us as people paying attention and caring for our happiness.
