Hope Part 11 Conclusion Why are some people successful without Jesus?
This is the conclusion of the Hope Series.
Faith is the evidence of whatever we are hoping for. (Our prayers)
Of course, whatever we are hoping (Praying) for must be in line with God’s word.
Faith gives substance or evidence to what we cannot see. (Our prayers or hope)
Faith to me means believing God for something based on His word only with no physical evidence.
That “something” is our hope.
Why because we cannot see it.
Here is an observation.
Why is it that we see people who are not born again successful?
Answer, they are applying God’s laws and principles and its working.
They are applying Hebrews 11:1 and probably do not know it.
They are reaping the benefits of it.
But they do not know the One who made those laws and principles.
The Devil likes this.
Why, because if they are happy without Jesus, they will not see a need for a Savior.
They are headed for the lake of fire and the Devil knows it.
I believe the Devil leaves them alone to a point.
He attempts to keep them out of reach of Jesus.
Then many of these successful people write books about their success.
So, those without Jesus begin to read these books.
Yet, the knowledge is not grounded in Jesus and His word.
Let us go further in and look at Hebrews 11:1 once again.
Hebrews 11:1
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” NKJV
First let us talk about faith.
Question, where should our faith be grounded or rooted in?
Answer, we as God’s children are to place our faith or trust in Him and His word.
