Move forward, firm-footed, and stable!
Surefooted Ministries will cause those in Christ to be properly prepared, equipped, and surefooted for the present and future battles that are coming!
Watch the video for many insights! For example, how do those in Christ, shod their feet, in other words, put on their shoes?
If there was ever a time in history to be firm-footed, and stable, it is now!
It is time to be diligent, patient, punctual, and attentive to God, His word and move forward in His plan for mankind!
It is time to be awake for the kingdom and for lost souls!
It is time to pray fervently and exercise our delegated authority in the spirit realm!
To ensure all this to happen we must, as believers in Christ, to put on the whole armor of God!
There are many pieces to the armor of God, and all are important.
At this point there is one defensive piece of the armor of God to bring to our attention found in the following portion of God's word.
Ephesians 6:15 (AMP)
“And having shod your feet in preparation [to face the enemy with the firm-footed stability, the promptness, and the readiness produced by the good news] of the Gospel of peace.”
Keep in mind that those in Christ are fighting a spiritual warfare.
Plus, each person in the body of Christ is to be a good (first-class) soldier of Christ Jesus.
2 Timothy 2:3 (AMP)
“Take [with me] your share of the hardships and suffering [which you are called to endure] as a good (first-class) soldier of Christ Jesus.”
A good (first-class) soldier of Christ Jesus indicates many things. Such as, putting on spiritual shoes for protection, preparation, training, purpose, direction, timing, and to know the full gospel of peace.
To be successful as a good (first-class) soldier of Christ Jesus, certain character qualities need to be developed for warfare.
Faith! Obedience! Boldness! Endurance! Responsibility! Decisiveness! Determination! Loyalty!
Before a warrior can go out to battle, he must first prepare himself. The proper techniques of warfare must be learned.
A warrior must learn how to use his various weapons to their greatest potential. (Warfare training)
Since the weapons, a warrior takes into battle are vital to the outcome of the battle, he must not allow his weapons to become ineffective through a lack of character.
Believers also must be prepared and trained to use their “spiritual” weapons in battle. Like the warrior the believer must be alert to the factors, involving character, which could cause their “spiritual” weapons to become ineffective.
God’s Word is the believers’ warfare manual. Only after it is studied and applied can there be success. Through preparation, proper warfare training, and character development the believer will be able to achieve success.
Watch the videos below about preparation and proven character.
Dictionary Definition of the word “Prepared” To furnish, provide, and supply.
Dictionary Definition of the word “Trained” To teach, instruct, and direct.
Character deficiencies can cause the effectiveness of the believer’s study life to be diminished, which in turn decreases their ability to utilize their God-given, weapons.
