"When you bear (produce) much fruit, My Father is honored and glorified, and you show and prove yourselves to be true followers of Mine.”
* My thinking is this we honor and glorify many people and things on earth. However, I believe in giving honor and glory to the heavenly Father by bearing much fruit? In addition, not just much fruit but much sweet fruit. Let us not forget our heavenly Father!
Deuteronomy 29:18-19 (RSV)
“Beware lest there be among you a man or woman or family or tribe, whose heart turns away this day from the LORD our God to go and serve the gods of those nations; lest there be among you a root bearing poisonous and bitter fruit,
19 one who, when he hears the words of this sworn covenant, blesses himself in his heart, saying, `I shall be safe, though I walk in the stubbornness of my heart.' This would lead to the sweeping away of moist and dry alike.”
Furthermore, let us prove to be true followers of Jesus Christ.
