4 Children 8 Objects Part 11 Do we sense the power or presence of the Holy Spirit?
Let us continue with another part of 4 Children 8 objects!
For some reason I do not see or sense the power of God like when I was first born of God.
Even today if you walked into a building involving Christians do you sense the presence of the Holy Spirit?
Is it possible that believers are not speaking and doing things God’s way?
I mentioned Jesus and what He spoke in John 12:49.
John 12:49 (NKJV)
“For I have not spoken on My own authority; but the Father who sent Me gave Me a command, what I should say and what I should speak.”
I mentioned Jesus and what He did in John 5:19.
John 5:19 (RSV)
“Jesus said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of his own accord, but only what he sees the Father doing; for whatever he does, that the Son does likewise.”
In other words, Jesus spoke things and did things His Fathers way.
When we enter an assembly (Church building of believers) what do we see?
The pews, chairs, digital equipment, TV screens, special effects, the bulletin food and so on, right?
However, do we sense the presence of The Holy Spirit?
It would be great to have both.
In our services we have more of God’s presence than we do all the fancy stuff.
Sometimes the fancy stuff can distract a person from God’s presence.
I would rather live in a cardboard house in God’s presence than to live in a mansion without His presence.
