Psalm 119:18 (NKJV)
Open my eyes, that I may see Wondrous things from Your law.
Keep in mind.
1. Retention is manifested through regular review.
2. Make short steps of application after any teaching.
3. Enjoy the teaching and your Teacher the Holy Spirit.
John 14:26 (NKJV)
"But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you."
(Some highlights of the teaching)
“Moving forward” was the key phrase from the Holy Spirit.
I also said that we cannot spend all our time on repairing and repenting. If we do, we cannot go forward and build.
In other words, our productivity is hindered. (Efficiency is hindered)
Dictionary definition for the word “Productive”: yielding results, benefits, or profits
God desires results from His children. (Matthew 25:14-30 “The parable of the talents”) (John 15:1-2)
Preparation and training enable us to go forward and build.
Or we can say, be productive, yield some results.
Be one of those who have faith and keep their souls.
Preserving our souls is our responsibility.
Our preparation and training must include His knowledge.
My testimonies but not good ones. (Think in spiritual terms in your life)
Learn the basics in God’s word so we can go forward. (Otherwise too difficult later)
Going forward will be frustrating unless we learn the basics of God’s word.
Unless we do the basics, we will sit in God’s classroom watching other people build.
Learn to use our strengths instead of focusing all our attention on our weaknesses.
Learn to at least work on our weaknesses to prevent danger to our life and others. Be at a level of safety.
Jesus will work with a person no matter how weak they are.
He will bring to the surface His victory in the life of those who are willing and obedient.
Jesus sees the potential of what we can be.
He will manifest hope for those who lack in any area of life.
If a person is willing and obedient God can help them. (I can help them as well)
Isaiah 1:18-20 (RSV)
18 "Come now, let us reason together, says the LORD: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool.
19 If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land;
20 But if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword; for the mouth of the LORD has spoken."

Keep this in mind. Once we start to build, finish what we started. Be a finisher in all areas of our life by making the decision to calculate the cost before we begin a project or task.
