"But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you."
Highlights:
Once again, we will continue with the four elements.
Keep in mind that these four elements relate to God’s information. (Knowledge)
(1) Receiving (Not rejecting it His information)
(2) Holding (Safely or guarding His information)
(3) Transporting (Being responsible with His information)
(4) Delivering (Thoroughness or attention to details about God’s information)
Just like the UPS drivers I mentioned a while ago.
The word information will be a powerful word in this teaching.
Dictionary definition for the word “Information”: the communication or reception of knowledge or intelligence, knowledge obtained from investigation, study, or instruction
Dictionary definition for the word “Reception”: the act or action or an instance of receiving
One synonym for the word information is knowledge.
Consider this verse.
2 Peter 3:18 (NKJV)
18 but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.
(Advice) Take the time for our information of the Lord to grow.
Proverbs 19:20 (RSV)
20 Listen to advice and accept instruction, that you may gain wisdom for the future.
Growth is a process and it will take patience.
If we do not see results right away do not give up.
Realize that before a plant comes up the roots need to go down first.
2 Kings 19:30 (RSV)
30 And the surviving remnant of the house of Judah shall again take root downward, and bear fruit upward;
We cannot see the roots go down but it does happen. (Unless in a clear glass)
Therefore, understand that there is a progression for our information of the Lord to grow.
Mark 4:28-29 (NKJV)
28 For the earth yields crops by itself: first the blade, then the head, after that the full grain in the head.
29 But when the grain ripens, immediately he puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come."
Progression
First-------------then-------------after that---------------harvest
Keep this mind it is very important to receive information. (Knowledge of God)
Why, because everything stops if we reject.
In other words, we cannot hold, transport or deliver anything if rejected.
At this point, I would like to say this.
It is our responsibility to receive correct information about the things of our Father.
