Lasting Results Session 2 Part 6 How the Enemy Operates!

Welcome everyone!

This teaching is in document form only, with special features.

Note: To maintain focus, read everything on the page before viewing the video and going to the link. Thank you.

(1) Let us begin another part of the series, “Lasting results”. (Session 2)

(2) Many of us get tormented throughout the week by what we speak out loud in our known language.

(3) The enemy understands what we say.

(4) We give the enemy hints of what bothers us by what we speak in the negative.

(5) When we speak the enemy hears. (Positive and negative)

(6) The enemy focuses on what bothers us.

(7) Therefore, why would we let the enemy know everything that bothers us?

(8) Realize that there will be some leakage, but it can be controlled to some degree.

(9) I believe that the enemy hears what we say and assigns demons to ensure that we are continually bothered or tormented.

(10) Remember Satan and demons work through people.

(11) On the other hand, God works through people as well.

(12) Examples of what we say that give hints to the enemy. (Leakage)

(13) First, we need to be careful what we speak. (Speak only what is needed)

(14) Examples. These will help us avoid unnecessary persecution!

(15) “Now that we completed that let us worry about this.” (I have noticed this phrase more and more from both believers and non-believers)

(16) “That’s really frustrating!!”

(17) “That bugs me to no end!”

(18) “I have no patience with her or him!”

(19) “That worries me!”

(20) “I hate this house!”

(21) I do not like this city or state!

(22) “I hate that store!”

(23) “I hate this situation!”

(24) “I hate my job!”

(25) “I feel like I am useless!”

(26) Talking to our pets about how bad everything is.

(27) Slamming the door.

(28) Slapping our hand down.

(29) Rolling our eyes.

(30) Nodding our head.

(31) Driving away fast.

(32) Walking away mad.

(33) Eating in an odd way. (French fries dangling from our fingers)

(34) All these are hints of what bothers us.

(35) Therefore, we provide the enemy with junk to work with against us.

(36) The junk we give the enemy is what they use to bother us or torment us.

(37) We give them wood to put in the fire.

Proverbs 26:20
“For lack of wood the fire goes out; and where there is no whisperer, quarreling ceases.” RSV

(38) We should starve the enemy by keeping our mouth shut. (Closed)

Psalms 19:14
“Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer.” NKJV

Psalms 39:1
“I said, "I will guard my ways, that I may not sin with my tongue; I will bridle my mouth, so long as the wicked are in my presence." RSV

(39) The kingdom of darkness is wicked.

Proverbs 21:23
“He who guards his mouth and his tongue keeps himself from troubles.” AMP

Proverbs 21:23
“Keep your mouth closed and you'll stay out of trouble.” TLB

Proverbs 21:23
“If you want to stay out of trouble, be careful what you say.” TEV

(40) Sometimes when I am ministering to someone, I will not disclose all my plans of what I will do.

(41) It is not junk that I am speaking however, it is information that could be used against me or the areas of communication with other people.

(42) Even plans for the following day.

(43) Examples.

(44) “I think I will speak to that person about Jesus tomorrow.”

(45) The enemy goes to work to distract that person.

(46) “I will explain to her about speaking in tongues.”

(47) The enemy goes to work and brings a doubter along their path.

(48) “When I get up in the morning here is what I will do!”

(49) Then the phone calls and many other things come up.

(50) Therefore, I keep certain information within me (Private) until they need to be released.

(51) It is wise to understand how the enemy works to offset their maneuvers against us.

(52) We should not be ignorant of his devices. Consider the following portions of God's word. (Three translations)

2 Corinthians 2:11 (NKJV)
“lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices.”

2 Corinthians 2:11 (AMP)
“To keep Satan from getting the advantage over us; for we are not ignorant of his wiles and intentions.”

2 Corinthians 2:11 (TEV)
“in order to keep Satan from getting the upper hand over us; for we know what his plans are.”
