Lasting Results Session 2 Part 7 Offset the enemy’s attempts to torment believers!

Welcome everyone!

This teaching is in document form only, with special features.

Note: To maintain focus, read everything on the page before viewing the video and going to the links. Thank you.

(1) Let us begin another part of the series, “Lasting results”. (Session 2)

(2) Our teaching goal is weapon strategies to offset the enemy’s attempts to torment us.

(3) So, what can we do? Here are some practical applications!

(4) We should be speaking the word rightly divided to ourselves and pray in tongues.

(5) As we speak God is watching over His word to perform it.

(6) When we pray in tongues they are filled with His words and He is watching over those words to perform them.

Jeremiah 1:12
Then said the Lord to me, You have seen well, for I am alert and active, watching over My word to perform it. AMP

(7) Whatever is bothering us instead of speaking it out loud pray in tongues –perfect prayers.

(8) This is not easy to do. (This takes faith to do, with some regularity)

(9) Why because we cannot understand what we are speaking.

(10) Sometimes we rather vent in the negative in our known language.

(11) However, if we do vent, use the word of God against the enemy. Plus, exercise our delegated authority in the spirit realm.

(12) I use the following verse. (I know how demons react to this verse in my demon class, years ago!)

Galatians 2:20
20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. NKJV

Galatians 2:20 (This translation is more accurate when it says, "faith of".
20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. (KJV)

(13) Like I said, whatever is bothering us instead of speaking it out loud pray in tongues. (Perfect prayers) Why because the enemy does not understand what we are saying.

(14) When we pray in tongues the words are encrypted.

(15) Satan cannot send out detailed plots of destruction to demons against us.

(16) Why, because Satan does not know what we are praying about. (Nor what is bothering us)

(17) When we do pray in tongues over a situation it does not have to be lengthy.

(18) Allow the Holy Spirit to pray through us and allow the prayers to play out. (Be patient)

(19) Pray through a situation.

(20) Watch the situation change.

(21) This does take faith, patience, and time to develop and apply.

(22) Question, how strong do we think His (Holy Spirit) prayers are to handle a situation?

(23) How much faith do we have in the words He gives us when we pray in tongues?

(24) What does “praying through” mean to me?

(25) “Praying through” means, praying in tongues until there is peace in our spirit.

(26) Eventually we will know and be at peace. Peace will be the deciding factor.

Colossians 3:15
And let the peace (soul harmony which comes) from Christ rule (act as umpire continually) in your hearts [deciding and settling with finality all questions that arise in your minds, in that peaceful state] to which as [members of Christ's] one body you were also called [to live]. And be thankful (appreciative), [giving praise to God always]. AMP

Colossians 3:15
The peace that Christ gives is to guide you in the decisions you make; for it is to this peace that God has called you together in the one body. And be thankful. TEV

(27) Yes, those in Christ have weapon strategies to offset the enemy’s attempts to torment us. But, we can cause torment in our own life as well. (See link below)
