318-Armed Trained Servants Focus

Greetings, all Royal Prayers Guards and all who join us online!
Thank you always for your faithfulness to the heavenly Father in all our prayer efforts. I know it takes a decision, time, initiative, strength, consistency, and many other qualities of Jesus to advance His kingdom on earth.
However, we are not alone because the Holy Spirit lives in us.
Keep this in mind, every prayer focus, if applied, will strengthen our prayer muscle otherwise, we will get weak and give up.

Our theme is found in Genesis 14:14-16 when Abram armed 318 trained servants.
14 Now when Abram heard that his brother (AMP-Nephew) was taken captive, he armed his three hundred and eighteen trained servants who were born in his own house, and went in pursuit as far as Dan.
15 He divided his forces against them by night, and he and his servants attacked them and pursued them as far as Hobah, which is north of Damascus.
16 So he brought back all the goods, and also brought back his brother Lot and his goods, as well as the women and the people.
Useful insights:
There are several insights within Genesis 14:14-16. I believe these will benefit the body of Christ. However, they will only be effective if applied.
Strong suggestion!
Ask the heavenly Father in Jesus' name, to reveal what is needed in your own life as you read these insights. (John 16:23-24)
1. Abram was alert. He heard. V14
2. He was sensitive to his brother Lot’s needs. (Part of the family) V14
3. He recognized that Lot was taken captive. V14
4. He took initiative and did something about the situation. He was not passive! V14
5. He took the time to arm his servants. V14
6. Abram chose 318 trained servants, not just servants but trained servants. V14
7. Abram and his trained men went in pursuit. They went forward. Not passive or inactive! V14
8. Abram was strategic, “divided his forces against them by night”. V15
9. His trained servants attacked the enemy and pursued them. No retreating, not passive! V15
10. There were results from Abram’s agenda of helping his brother Lot. V16
11. Abram brought back all the goods, his brother Lot, and his goods, and all the women and the people. V16
Practical understandings:
1. To be trained takes desire, power, time, and effort…
2. Preparation had to be the equation for those armed trained servants.
3. Abram was responsible to ensure the safety of his brother Lot.
4. Those 318 trained servants had to be ready for battle.
5. Those 318 trained servants had to be obedient.
6. Those 318 trained servants demonstrated endurance.
7. Those 318 trained servants heeded instructions.
8. Abram knew his enemy.
9. Abram was thorough in bringing back everything that was taken.
Suggested life applications:
1. Believe God for the desire and power to do His will.
2. Be prepared and ready for battle.
3. Be obedient to God and His word.
4. Be responsible.
5. Be thorough in all areas of life.
6. Be proactive or active.
7. Be attentive to follow instructions.
8. If we know there is danger toward a person…, we as believers in Christ need to take the initiative, be responsible, and respond and not be passive.
