For examplehow do those in Christ, shod their feet, in other words, put on their shoes?

Hello, all Royal Prayer Guards and all those who pray with us.

Thank you for your diligence, patience, punctuality, initiative, and attentiveness!

This is the time to really pray and exercise our delegated authority. A time to move forward, firm-footed, and stable. If we are not stable, we will not be able to help others in need.

To ensure we can help others, we need the whole armor of God! There are many pieces to the armor of God, and all are important.

Our Main Focus!

Our focus is on one defensive piece of the armor of God found in the following portion of God's word.

Ephesians 6:15 (KJV)
“And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace”

Be a good soldier!

Realize that those in Christ are to be a good soldier of Christ Jesus.

2 Timothy 2:3 (RSV)
“Share in suffering as a good soldier of Christ Jesus.”

A good soldier indicates many things. Such as, shoes for protection, preparation, which takes training, purpose, direction, timing, and to know the full gospel of peace.

Character qualities needed in warfare!

Faith! Obedience! Boldness! Endurance! Responsibility! Decisiveness! Determination! Loyalty!

Suggestions for prayer and application:

(These can be used when praying for yourself and others in the body of Christ!)

1. Be decisive and put on our spiritual shoes!

2. Be prepared and trained!

3. Be firm-footed and stable!

4. Be ready with the full gospel of peace for battle!

5. Be equipped with the character qualities of Jesus!

For example, how do those in Christ, shod their feet, in other words, put on their shoes?

Summary:

This message emphasizes the importance of spiritual readiness and strength for those who follow Christ, drawing from biblical teachings. Here’s a summary of the key points:

  1. Spiritual Readiness: The message urges believers to be firm-footed and stable in their spiritual walk. This stability allows them to help others in need.
  2. The Armor of God: It highlights the significance of wearing the "whole armor of God," with a specific focus on one piece—the shoes, symbolizing readiness and preparation with the "gospel of peace" (Ephesians 6:15).
  3. Characteristics of a Good Soldier: Believers are called to be good soldiers of Christ, enduring hardships and embodying qualities like faith, obedience, boldness, endurance, responsibility, decisiveness, determination, and loyalty.
  4. Prayer and Application Suggestions:
    • Be decisive in putting on spiritual armor.
    • Be prepared and trained for spiritual battles.
    • Stay stable and firm-footed.
    • Equip yourself with the gospel of peace.
    • Develop the character qualities of Jesus.

The underlying theme encourages active spiritual discipline and dedication to the teachings of Christ to withstand challenges and support others.
