Promised everlasting inheritance!
Great news! Those in Christ have a promised everlasting inheritance!
Hebrews 9:15 (AMP)
[Christ, the Messiah] is therefore the Negotiator and Mediator of an [entirely] new agreement (testament, covenant), so that those who are called and offered it may receive the fulfillment of the promised everlasting inheritance—since a death has taken place which rescues and delivers and redeems them from the transgressions committed under the [old] first agreement.
Faithful stewards!
As stewards of Christ, we are required to be found faithful!
1 Corinthians 4:2 (NKJV)
Moreover it is required in stewards that one be found faithful.
Insight to be a faithful steward.
Let us not allow the enemy (The kingdom or dominion of darkness) to cause our inheritance to be desolated through doubt, fear, and worry. If we do allow it, the enemy rejoices, and God is not glorified.
"...they shall know that I am the LORD."
Ezekiel 35:15 (NKJV)
As you rejoiced because the inheritance of the house of Israel was desolate, so I will do to you; you shall be desolate, O Mount Seir, as well as all of Edom--all of it! Then they shall know that I am the LORD." '
Keep this in mind, Jesus knows how to protect His children!!
Revelation 5:5 (TLB)
But one of the twenty-four Elders said to me, "Stop crying, for look! The Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has conquered, and proved himself worthy to open the scroll and to break its seven seals."
Examine yourself. Are you experiencing any of the following?
Deserted, joyless, miserable, showing the effects of abandonment and neglect, dilapidated, barren, lifeless, devoid of warmth, comfort, hope, or gloom?
God can turn things around!
If our God-given inheritance has been desolated in any way, believe God to turn it around. (Ezekiel 35:15)
Through Christ, we can experience the following! I did not say it would be easy!
Brand-new, fresh, cared-for, kept-up, maintained, mended, patched, rebuilt, reconstructed, smart, spiffy, and spruced up.
Suggested applications:
1. As faithful stewards let us honor God by guarding our promised everlasting inheritance through faith, and glorifying Jesus!
2. Realize that whatever God has given His children they are responsible to take care of it.
