Escape from the corruption!

Greetings all Royal Prayer Guards and all those who join us.

Thank you for your prayers, flexibility, and your measure of faith working through love

James 4:15 (RSV) (Flexibility needed)
Instead you ought to say, "If the Lord wills, we shall live and we shall do this or that."

Romans 12:3 (NKJV) (Measure of faith)
For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.

Galatians 5:6 (NKJV) (Faith working through love)
For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love.

Main emphasis. How to escape!
This prayer focus is directed toward those who are seeking an escape from all the corruption happening in this world.

Dictionary definition for the word escape: to get away (as by flight), to avoid a threatening evil, to get free of, break away from, to get or stay out of the way of, avoid, to fail to be noticed or recallable

Viewing the world.
As we view the world and everything happening, people are moving in all directions attempting to escape “from the moral decay (rottenness and corruption)”.

Viewing a way to escape.

Attempting to escape.

Why the corruption?
The answer, because of covetousness, lust, greed, fraud, harm, dishonesty…
Dictionary definition for corruption: a departure from the original or from what is pure or correct

The answer to escape!
God’s precious and exceedingly great promises!

2 Peter 1:4
by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, that through these you may escape from the corruption that is in the world because of passion, and become partakers of the divine nature. View more.

2 Corinthians 1:20
For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.

Numbers 23:19 (NKJV)
19 "God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?

Titus 1:2 (NKJV)
2 in hope of eternal life which God, who cannot lie, promised before time began,

If we know the answer, (God’s promises) it would be wise to understand the promises. In other words, study the Bible with the application

2 Timothy 2:15-16 (AMP)
15 Study and be eager and do your utmost to present yourself to God approved (tested by trial), a workman who has no cause to be ashamed, correctly analyzing and accurately dividing [rightly handling and skillfully teaching] the Word of Truth. 16 But avoid all empty (vain, useless, idle) talk, for it will lead people into more and more ungodliness.

James 1:22 (AMP)
22 But be doers of the Word [obey the message], and not merely listeners to it, betraying yourselves [into deception by reasoning contrary to the Truth].

Suggestions for prayer and applications.
1. Memorize 2 Peter 1:4.
2. Seek God’s precious and exceedingly great promises.
3. Realize it is through God’s promises we escape from the lust and rottenness all around us.
4. Become a partaker of God’s divine nature.
5. Use this question as an opportunity to evangelize, "How are you going to escape from the corruption that is in the world?

Hebrews 2:1
SINCE ALL this is true, we ought to pay much closer attention than ever to the truths that we have heard, lest in any way we drift past [them] and slip away.

Consider this verse again.

2 Peter 1:4
4 by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, that through these you may escape from the corruption that is in the world because of passion, and become partakers of the divine nature.

Think about the following portion of God's word. (Bottom line, the only way out is up!)

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 (AMP)
13  Now also we would not have you ignorant, brethren, about those who fall asleep [in death], that you may not grieve [for them] as the rest do who have no hope [beyond the grave].
14  For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will also bring with Him through Jesus those who have fallen asleep [in death].
15  For this we declare to you by the Lord's [own] word, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord shall in no way precede [into His presence] or have any advantage at all over those who have previously fallen asleep [in Him in death].
16  For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a loud cry of summons, with the shout of an archangel, and with the blast of the trumpet of God. And those who have departed this life in Christ will rise first.
17  Then we, the living ones who remain [on the earth], shall simultaneously be caught up along with [the resurrected dead] in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and so always (through the eternity of the eternities) we shall be with the Lord!
18  Therefore comfort and encourage one another with these words

This video will keep your focus on our True Living Hope.
