All leaders Prayer focus

Hello all Royal Prayer Guards! Thank you for your dependability and availability in prayer. I believe that these two character qualities glorify our heavenly Father.

Dependability vs. Inconsistency
"Fulfilling what I consented to do even if it means unexpected sacrifice." *(IBLP)
(Psalm 15:4)

Availability vs. self-centeredness
"Making my own schedule and priorities secondary to the wishes of those I am serving." *(IBLP)
(Philippians 2:20-21)

Let us be absolutely clear, Jesus IS the Ultimate Leader! NO ONE is greater than Jesus! He is dependable and available and much more!

However, the Bible reveals many people with excellent leadership qualities that we can learn from. Two examples of leadership qualities are found in Joshua and Caleb.

Therefore this prayer focus is directed to all those who are leaders in the body of Christ.

One place of interest is Joshua 1:8-9.  From these verses, we can identify four categories to pray about.

Realize also that Joshua and Caleb were the two spies who brought back a good report and actually believed that God would help them succeed. (Read Numbers chapters 13 and 14 for the full account)

May all Royal Prayer Guards be like Joshua and Caleb in Jesus' name and wholly follow the Lord! Amen! (See Numbers 32:12)
Let us take a look at Joshua 1:8-9. (Highlighted text added)

Joshua 1:8-9 (Instructions, Results if obeyed, Reminders, Encouragement)
(Instructions) 8 “This book of the law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; (Results if obeyed) for then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall have good success.
(Reminders) 9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; be not frightened, neither be dismayed; (Encouragement) for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go."

Here are some suggested areas of prayers and wisdom for all leaders to heed based on Joshua 1:8-9.

(1) Follow the Lord’s instructions

(2) Obedience for results to manifest!

(3) Take heed to reminders

(4) Be encouraged! (Prevent hard hearts)

Leadership Qualities!
Believe God for these leadership qualities to be manifested in each leader in Jesus' name! Amen!
