2 Chronicles 16:9
GOD is always on the alert, constantly on the lookout for people who are totally committed to him. You were foolish to go for human help when you could have had God's help. Now you're in trouble—one round of war after another."

This prayer focus is directed to all those in the body of Christ for the protection of their mind. This includes any age

(Simple observation) Technology is great if used correctly and we need it in the world we live in. However, technology is captivating the minds of people especially the younger generation.

The mind of a person captivated by earthly things will be ineffective for God’s kingdom on earth.

Dictionary definition for the word “captivating”: "To attract and hold the interest of, as by beauty or wit."

Consider this portion of God’s Word!

Galatians 3:1
"You crazy Galatians! Did someone put a hex on you? Have you taken leave of your senses? Something crazy has happened, for it's obvious that you no longer have the crucified Jesus in clear focus in your lives. His sacrifice on the Cross was certainly set before you clearly enough.”

Areas of prayer to think through and apply:

1. Allow God and His Word to attract the body of Christ and hold their interest in Him, His Word and the beauty of everything He is and has accomplished! (Isaiah 1:19

2. Renew the mind! (Romans 12:2)

3. Control the thought life! (2 Corinthians 10:4-6)

4. Avoid becoming a drifter from the truth! (Hebrews 2:1)

5. Prevent the mind from being choked with technology! (Mark 4:18-19)
