The Little Boats! Calmness needed!
Hello, all faithful Royal Prayer Guards and all who join us online.
It is an honor to know that you will pray for those in need, and our country!
Let us continue to do our part as believers in Christ. We cannot save this stormy world, but we can make a difference. Jesus already came to save the world. He is the only way, truth, and life!
John 3:17
For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
Acts 4:12
Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."
John 14:6
Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
Calmness needed!
The people in this world are desperate for some calmness. Someday Jesus will set everything in the proper order and His peace will prevail! But for now, we are to be led by the Spirit of God and hit the targets of need, especially in our areas of jurisdiction.
Romans 8:14
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.
Objectives!
The other little boats and calmness are our objectives.
Furthermore, the focus revolves around the account found in the Bible when Jesus is in the boat in the storm with His disciples. Jesus was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. (Mark 4:35-40)
Two key portions of God's word.
Ephesians 4:14
that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting…
Mark 4:39
Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, "Peace, be still!" And the wind ceased and there was a great calm.
My Insights:
The wind moves the sea likewise words (Teachings) move people.
In other words, the wind represents words, and the sea represents people.
To be in a boat on the sea in a windy storm is rough. (Spiritually and physically)
Statement! If a person is not stable in God’s word they will begin to be tossed back and forth on a sea of doubts by windy, unstable, strange teachings. (Words)
If anyone desires to stand firm in this life it would be wise to stand on God's word, especially if the government is not stable.
Please understand, words move people like the wind moves the sea—manifest calmness in your life rather than a storm.
Suggested application.
“I rebuke the words or teachings people speak that are contrary to God’s word and say to the people privately peace be still!” This affects all those in each situation as seen in Mark 4: 36
Mark 4:35-40 (NKJV)
35 On the same day, when evening had come, He said to them, "Let us cross over to the other side."
36 Now when they had left the multitude, they took Him along in the boat as He was. And other little boats were also with Him.
37 And a great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was already filling.
38 But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him, "Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?"
39 Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, "Peace, be still!" And the wind ceased and there was a great calm.
40 But He said to them, "Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?"
John 14:12
I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, if anyone steadfastly believes in Me, he will himself be able to do the things that I do; and he will do even greater things than these, because I go to the Father.
Be encouraged!
