- This prayer focus is directed towards our government.
- This is a very serious period for our government especially involving our country and world events.
- Therefore please pray and believe God to manifest His Wisdom in all three branches of Government.
1. Legislative branch
2. Executive branch
3. Judicial branch
(Two Kinds of Wisdom with many facets)
James 3:13-18
"Who is wise and understanding among you? By his good life let him show his works in the meekness of wisdom. But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast and be false to the truth. This wisdom is not such as comes down from above, but is earthly, unspiritual, devilish. For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there will be disorder and every vile practice. But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, without uncertainty or insincerity. And the harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace." RSV
As a believer in Christ Jesus, I learned two things.
(1) His wisdom is sweet.
Proverbs 24:13-14 (Highlighted text added)
“My child, eat honey, for it is good, and the honeycomb is sweet to the taste. In the same way, wisdom is sweet to your soul. If you find it, you will have a bright future, and your hopes will not be cut short.”
(2) Believe God for His wisdom every day. Why, because it takes His wisdom to build.
Proverbs 24:3
“Through skillful and godly Wisdom is a house (a life, a home, a family) built…”
Therefore believe God today and every day for His wisdom to build and to enjoy a bright future! Believe God for His wisdom so that our "hopes will not be cut short".
Furthermore, if the United States desires to have a bright future God's wisdom will definitely be needed and the hopes of this nation "will not be cut short".
